Christian Dating Advice

I have a lot of friends who are surprised when they find out that I offer Christian dating advice. Several of them just do not understand it. They wonder how dating advice for Christians could be any different from any other sound advice. After all, Christians are faced with a lot of the same dating issues as Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and members of any other religious group. Some Christian dating singles are extremely devout, but others ones quite secular. They come from a variety of different denominations, and they have a wide range of different interests. Some Christian dating singles want to settle down quickly, while others want to have a fun fling with someone else that was raised in their faith. So the question still remains, what is it that makes Christian dating advice any different from other forms of advice on dating?

In one sense, nothing. Christian dating advice deals with the exact same dating and romance complications as anything else. At times, it can be more conservative than other types of psychological advice for meeting singles, but it does not have to be. In another sense, there is a difference. Christian dating advice draw it's inspiration and guidance from the Holy Bible.

You see, my devout Christian clients like to link every aspect of their life to biblical teaching. Whether they are purchasing a house, having someone over for dinner, looking for a college for their son, or doing something else entirely, they like to see what the Bible has to say. By coming up with dating advice for Christian singles, I am able to help them live their lives according to the teaching of the Holy Bible. The Bible was written a very long time ago, and sometimes it's difficult to see the relevance to some of the current issues such as modern dating. By making dating advice for Christians available, I am able to help people continue on with their traditions.

Of course, not every Christian agrees on the dating protocols. There are some Christian singles that are extremely modern, preferring to meet their romantic interest at the local bar, date multiple partners at the same time, and have a much more casual approach to dating and romance. Most of the individuals who I know that seek out Christian dating advice, are a bit more traditional than that. They are seeking dating advice for Christians as a way to shield themselves from the modern world and continue forward with a more conservative lifestyle. I do not judge. I just try to serve my clients interests the best I can. Whether it's a secular Christian or a religious one, you can receive a lot of inspiration about love and relationships from the teachings of the Bible. That is the message I hope my clients receive at the end of the day.
