Christian Speed Dating

I have spent a considerable amount of time on Christian dating sites, but I just wasn't having much luck with them. You see, unlike most of the people in my generation, I am not terribly Internet literate. I was never able to get my internet profile to look just the way I wanted, and because of this I was having a difficult time meeting attractive Christian singles. I started to brood over all of my missed opportunities. You see, I go to a good church, but it is also a pretty old church. The problem is, it's really hard to meet someone there because there are very few Christian singles that attend. When I was an atheist, I used to go on a lot of speed dates , but ever since I converted I have not gone on any. I just assumed that there wasn't such a thing as Christian speed dating. I sure am glad I was wrong.

Christian speed dating is very similar to any other type of speed dating, but there are some differences. The most obvious difference is that everybody there is Christian. So when you go to these speed dating places you are going to meet people that value their religion.  I could have went to a regular speed dating place, but I probably would have been surrounded by a room full of non Christians. Since only a few of the individuals there would have been Christian, It would have been very difficult for me to meet that special person. I knew that I had a much better chance of finding my true love by going on Christian speed dates.

Nevertheless, when I found out about Christian speed dating I became very excited even though my first attempt didn't work out to well. I think I just got my hopes up a little too high, and this set me up for disappointment when I got there. I met a couple of nice women there, but none of them seemed just right. After that experience I went out on a few dates, but none of them worked out either. I was a little discouraged, but I knew I had to give it another chance.

I went all out this time. I took the time to make sure that I was extremely presentable. I got a stylish hair cut, shaved, and I bought some sharp new clothes. I know your not supposed to judge people by their appearance, but everybody does to a certain degree. I figure that if I looked the part, then my Christian speed dating experience would be much more successful . I have to admit, I am quite sure I turned a few heads when I strolled in. Some of the women looked up and smiled at me, and I smiled back. From that very moment I entered the room, I just knew that this was going to be the perfect opportunity to meet the woman of my dreams. As it ended up, I only met one woman there who I really liked, but the good thing was that she also really liked me. The next day, we went out on a date together and things turned out really well. Seven months afterwards, we were happily married.
